metro hospital locations in Lee’s Summit, Overland Park, North Kansas City, and Plaza areas. Schedules are written 8 – 10 weeks in advance. This is a full-time night shift position.
As a Float Pool Nurse at Saint Luke’s Health System, you will provide patient care in various Telemetry, Med -Surg, Intermediate, and Rehab units. You will be provided all of the training and resources needed to support these different specialties.
This position provides autonomy that allows you to own your practice. This is a great opportunity to expand on your nursing skills and gain experience with multiple different comorbidities and care plans. Responsibilities:
• Position is accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
• Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.

Has work commitment that is at minimum 3 shifts within a 6 week period. Must work one weekend shift within 6 weeks and 1 minor holiday. Tier 2 will work at two entities.
