About the Role
You’ll be hands-on in supporting patients through everything from intake to rehab. This is a role for a highly skilled, detail-oriented technician who wants to work at the cutting edge of veterinary medicine.
Core Responsibilities:Administer and monitor general anesthesia for surgical and advanced imaging cases (Perform pre-op and post-op assessments, including patient prep and recovery monitoringManage anesthesia equipment and troubleshoot in real timeProvide hands-on support during neurosurgical Accurately calculate and deliver medications, CRIs, and fluid therapyPlace and maintain IV catheters, urinary catheters, and feeding tubesSupport seizure patients and assist in emergency triage and stabilizationAcquire detailed patient histories and assist neurologists during consultations and rechecksRecord and track vitals, behavior, pain scoring, and neurologic functionProvide rehabilitation support to help post-op and paralyzed patients regain mobilityDeliver client education with empathy and clarityMaintain detailed, accurate electronic medical records using practice management softwareOther duties as assigned
Requirements:Current CA RVT license (required)5+ years of clinical experience, ideally in specialty or emergency medicineAdvanced anesthesia knowledge and confidence in managing high-risk casesStrong skills in patient monitoring, drug calculation, and emergency supportAbility to multitask and stay organized under pressureProfessional, compassionate communicator—team-focused and client-read
