Performs receptionist, registration, and clerical duties associated with direct and scheduled patient admissions. Identifies and refers patients who might have financial difficulty. Reports to: Admitting Supervisor *Minimum Education* High school diploma or equivalent required, may be substituted year for year with directly related experience. *Required Skills* Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred. Basic telephone skills and etiquette.
