The Role:

The Regulatory & Legal Compliance Associate will report to our Compliance Manager, working with the broader Governance Risk & Compliance team, Business Leaders, and Legal to implement and maintain robust compliance programs.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO:

This associate will support the Regulatory & Legal Compliance team by:

Assisting with monitoring and reviewing company policies, procedures, and operations to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Conducting research on regulatory requirements and briefing the team on new compliance programs as needed.

Tracking and maintaining records on key compliance milestones and training obligations.

Support cross-functional company efforts to identify and address potential risks.

Developing metrics, dashboards, and reports for Regulatory & Legal Compliance related program activities.

Working closely with various shared services and operational teams on compliance program elements of high complexity and/or high visibility.

Ensuring adherence to policies and training within the business and across new mergers & acquisitions as appropriate.

Work with relevant parties to investigate potential compliance violations as needed and prepare written reports documenting the scope of the work performed and overall conclusion.

Act as an advocate and champion of the compliance program among leadership, employees and agents and serve as a resource for compliance and ethics matters including consulting services and strategic direction on internal controls, business process optimization, risk management, and other areas.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Previous experience executing complex projects and supporting compliance teams

Self-starter with drive to improve existing programs

Excellent communication skills and no hesitation when taking initiative

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, process improvement, and project management skills.

Passionate and willing to learn.

Ability to maintain discretion with sensitive and confidential information.

Ability to work in large global environments spanning multiple time-zones.

Ability to work with cross functional stakeholders in order to meet organizational goals within deadline.

Excellent computer skills including experience with project management applications, presentation applications, and database management.

Bachelor’s Degree

Familiarity of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) or PMP certified is a plus.

The expected compensation for this position is:

$72,000.00 USD - $90,000.00 USD

** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
