We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** ​ **Summary** ​ ​​Functions as an interdisciplinary team member assisting therapists in direct patient care and in support of therapy department operations.​ **Responsibilities** + ​​Accountable for adhering to HCA Florida West mission including meeting behavioral expectations, providing excellence in health care delivery, supporting dignity of all persons and responsible stewardship of resources.​ ​​ + Assists with treatments as outlined/instructed by the Therapist​ ​​ + Assist with the scheduling of patients​ ​​ + Assist with set up and clean-up of treatment equipment and spaces to include wheelchairs​ + ​​Participates in departmental projects ​ + ​​Demonstrates knowledge and respect of patient rights to privacy and protection of patient confidentiality​ ​​​ ​ + ​​Promotes and displays a positive customer-oriented demeanor to patients, visitors, staff, and physicians, participating in customer experience improvement efforts​ ​​ + Demonstrates knowledge of the occurrence reporting system. + Uses system to report potential patient safety issues.​ + ​​Demonstrates an understanding and proficiency in the use of a computer and office equipment​ ​​​ + Performs other duties as may be assigned​ **What qualifications you will need:** + ​​BLS or BCLS - American Red Cross or American Heart Association - or obtain within 30 days of hire​ + 1+ year of patient care experience HCA Florida West Hospital is a 515-bed facility.
