Job Description
Seeking dedicated and patient-oriented Certified Medical Assistants to assist with a Telehealth program project. This is a fully remote position where you will play a crucial role in assisting patients. CMAs will offer support and guidance on the use of their kits provided to them. You will be responsible for handling inbound calls, offering exceptional customer service, and ensuring accurate collection of patient's vitals. This is a high-volume, remote environment where empathy, efficiency, and accuracy are essential.
Essential SkillsActive Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required (accepted from AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT).Minimum of 3 years experience as a CMA.Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically.Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Tech-savvy and able to work with computers independently.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in a telehealth or remote healthcare setting is preferred.Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace for HIPAA privacy.Work Environment100% remote position. CMAs can be located anywhere throughout the U.S. but operate on Eastern Time Zone. Candidates must have a private enclosed office space in their home where they can shut the door and not have any loud distractions/interruptions from others due to HIPAA privacy. Cannot work outside of their home (e.g., coffee shop, library). Schedule is Monday through Friday, no weekends, no holidays. Shifts are from 8am EST to 4:30pm EST or 12pm EST to 8pm EST.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
