JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Retail Billing Representative Reports to: Director of Data Processing/Office Manager Status: Full-time, Hourly Non-exempt Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- include and are not limited to: + Maintain accurate billing records/bookkeeping, process customer billings for assigned area (commercial/residential liquid and HVAC billing). + Provide timely and accurate customer service to internal customers; research and respond to questions/issues related to customer billings as appropriate and when applicable communicate issues to management, account executives and external customers. + Process assigned billings according to contracts and price agreement to ensure compliance. + Prepare related reports to include, but not limited to customer billings. + Remain in a stationary position 90% of the time. + Adhere to company policies and procedures 100% of the time. RESPONSIBILITIES- include and are not limited to: + Ensure billing daily/weekly/monthly billing is completed timely and accurately + Ensure proper billing of all transactions 100% of the time. + Ensure residential/commercial transactions are processed in a timely fashion. + Conduct periodic billing audits to maintain accuracy in work. + Reports to work with minimal absenteeism or tardiness. + Attend job related training and informational seminars as requested. + Performs other job related activities and special projects as assigned such as but not limited to + Payment processing and payment application when required + Processing outgoing mail and delivery to post office + Provide routine support to the card programs QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS- include and are not limited to: + Must be highly detailed. + High school diploma + Two years of experience preferred. + Possess valid NYS driver license + Ability to lift and carry 50lbs + Ability work overtime during the work week including Saturday morning when required
