THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Revenue Manager to lead and own all aspects of revenue recognition for our organization. This role will be responsible for maintaining the revenue accounting policy, reviewing and analyzing complex contracts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards across multiple performance obligations and principal vs. agent considerations. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with sales, accounting, and audit teams to ensure accurate, timely revenue reporting and provide guidance on contract interpretation and accounting treatment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Own the revenue recognition accounting policy, ensuring updates are made based on changes in business needs or accounting standards.
Maintain a comprehensive database of all revenue contracts across customers and venues.
Review the terms and conditions of revenue contracts to assess the appropriate accounting treatment for various revenue performance obligations.
Provide guidance and training to the accounting team on proper revenue accounting practices, including the evaluation of revenue accruals and deferrals.
Collaborate closely with the sales and accounting teams to ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition in response to contract changes and adjustments.
Review monthly revenue results to ensure adherence to the revenue recognition policy.
Analyze revenue data to identify and resolve any anomalies in a timely manner.
Support both internal and external audit teams with revenue testing and compliance requirements.
Must have experience handling multiple performance obligations and a strong understanding of principal versus agent revenue accounting.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years focused on revenue recognition
Prior experience working with ASC 606 and handling multiple performance obligations is essential
Experience in a public accounting firm or in a complex, multi-entity corporate environment is a strong plus
Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606, with experience in multiple performance obligations and principal vs. agent considerations
Skilled in interpreting complex contracts, revenue analysis, and applying proper accounting treatments
Proficient in ERP systems and Excel; capable of managing revenue data and maintaining contract databases
Strong collaboration and communication skills across finance, sales, and audit teams
Experience supporting audits, ensuring compliance, and guiding teams on revenue policies
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
CPA is preferred.
