Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Structural Revit Designer who will be responsible for providing layouts based on documents, field measurements, and other data. The candidate will collaborate with structural engineers to complete construction documents by the deadline and prefers experience in designing industrial projects.
ResponsibilitiesCreate structural layouts using Revit based on field measurements and documentation.Integrate 3-D laser scan data into Revit and model from data.Collaborate with structural engineers to finalize construction documents.Design structural buildings, ensuring accuracy and detail.Utilize AutoCAD for drafting and designing purposes.Verify field conditions, constructability of designs, and assist in resolving problems during field construction.Essential SkillsProficiency in Revit and structural design.Experience ranging from entry-level to expert in Revit.Knowledge of AutoCAD and drafting.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience in structural design.Ability to work well within a team environment.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Work Environment
The work environment includes business casual attire or polos/jeans. Employees will work in cubicles and have a 40-hour work week with the possibility of the person. The position allows for independence while working near other drafters for assistance if needed. The Revit Design and Structural Group is based in Coralville.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
