The Job Opportunity: The Smurfit Westrock Mississauga facility is looking for Rewind Operators to work in our Bindery department. This position is responsible for the daily operations of the rewinder. This includes make-readies, operating the Rewinder safely and keeping the area clean. What you need to succeed: * Previous experience working in a manufacturing or printing environment considered an asset. * Can do attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the Company * Ability to adapt to changes in priorities, work independently and with a team * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals. * Ability to stand and walk 100% of shift on a concrete floor and ability to lift up to 40 pounds. * Must be able to maintain good attendance. Shift Schedule: Must be willing to work either of the following schedule. Must be willing to change shifts due to vacation coverage or other operational needs.
