The Job Opportunity: 

The Smurfit Westrock Mississauga facility is looking for Rewind Operators to work in our Bindery department.  This position is responsible for the daily operations of the rewinder. This includes make-readies, operating the Rewinder safely and keeping the area clean.

What you need to succeed:

Previous experience working in a manufacturing or printing environment considered an asset.Can do attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the CompanyAbility to adapt to changes in priorities, work independently and with a teamStrong written and verbal communication skills.Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.Ability to stand and walk 100% of shift on a concrete floor and ability to lift up to 40 pounds.Must be able to maintain good attendance.

Shift Schedule: Must be willing to work either of the following schedule. Must be willing to change shifts due to vacation coverage or other operational needs. 

 

Days:

Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM to 3:00 PMFriday: 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Afternoons:

Monday to Thursday: 3:00 PM to 10:30 PMFriday: 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Nights:

Monday to Thursday: 10:30 PM to 7:30 PMFriday: OFF
