Rigid Pipeline Lead
Join our dynamic team as a Rigid Pipeline Lead, where you will play a pivotal role in the offshore pipelines sector. This full-time contract position is based in the vibrant city of Paris, France, offering you the opportunity to lead innovative projects in subsea engineering while collaborating with industry experts.
Role Overview Provide specialist skills in key areas of subsea rigid pipeline/spool engineering, in accordance with client specifications, design codes, and guidelines. Review material take-off, design reports, technical notes, engineering drawings, and risk assessments for tenders, FEEDs, and EPCIs. Propose and implement design solutions for complex problems to achieve cost and risk reduction. Identify risks, participate in risk assessments, and manage/mitigate risks effectively. Take ownership of, organize, and prioritize allocated tasks and scope of work. Manage time and budget constraints to meet project deadlines. Interface with various disciplines and functions within a project, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and third parties. Report to the project engineering manager and discipline manager. Communicate project experience and lessons learned to the discipline. Contribute to discipline developments such as engineering tools and technology advancements. Skills & Qualifications Offshore Pipelines: Expertise in subsea rigid pipeline/spool engineering. Project Management: Proven ability to manage projects within time and budget constraints. Communication Skills: Strong oral, written, and electronic communication abilities. Risk Management: Experience in identifying and mitigating project risks. Team Leadership: Ability to lead and function as a team member across multiple projects. Mentorship: Capability to guide and mentor junior engineers. Education & Experience Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in offshore pipeline projects.
