Risk Assurance - Advisor I

What does a Line of Business Control Officer do?

The Line of Business (LOB) Control Officer for our Issuer Solutions business is responsible for managing and advising on controls for the LOB, with a focus on the past and the present. You will conduct control design consultation/assessments/testing, root cause analyses, audit preparation, and issue management support. The LOB Control Officer will also partner with other control functions and the LOB Risk Officer.  

 

To be successful in this role, you will:

Collaborate with the business and supporting functions.Drive alignment between the business and the control framework, and other risk domains as appropriate.Enforce policies, procedures, and programs.Conduct control assessments and testing to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems, technology, and other internal controls, as appropriate. Manage triggers of when an assessment should be performed (e.g., system change, external event).Contribute to/lead governance routines.

 

What we need you to have:

 Risk or industry experience (e.g., audit, compliance, risk management, technology, or operations)Demonstrated relationship management experiencePrior experience as being a strong, decisive, bottom-line, and action-oriented manager of people and projects, who can obtain results.Organized, influential, strong client service attitude, and demonstrated success as a leader within an overly complex business5+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience 

 

What we would like you to have:

Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Controls/Risk Management, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Finance, Management, Information TechnologyFiserv Issuer Solutions business knowledge is preferred5+ years of experience in an operational or audit/compliance role
