The Hematology, Oncology & Bone Marrow Transplant unit operates 24/7 and provides exceptional care to patients with life-threatening diseases and disorders such as cancer, immune disorders, and blood disorders. Our patients range from birth to 20 years old and the unit has 21 beds.

Required Qualifications 1 year RN experience in Pediatric Hem/OncAssociate or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a program accredited by Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA)BSN preferredAssociate Degree Nurses required to enroll in BSN program within 3 years of hire and complete within 5 years of hire.Communication skills including fluency in oral and written EnglishBasic computer skills including the ability to send/receive email, navigate information technology associated with the position, and use Electronic Health Record information and toolsCurrent unencumbered Oregon RN licenseCurrent BLS and PALS certifications issued by the American Heart Association APHON/ONS Chemotherapy certificationsMust be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation Preferred Qualifications CPON/CPHON/BMTCN or ONS Certification Additional DetailsLength of Orientation
