BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking experienced NICU Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate staffing resource office team. BayCare offers a variety of assignment options including:
· System Pool and Seasonal Pool- 13-week full time NICU assignments. Current assignments available at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater and Winter Haven Women's Hospital for June start date- unit provided schedule - block scheduling is not available.
The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
· The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.
· Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments
· Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
· The Registered Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
· Registered Nurse license
· BLS
· ACLS(AHA)
· Associate degree in nursing (ASN). BSN is preferred.
· 2 years RN current hospital experience in NICU.
· Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred.
· Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts.
· Flexibility
· Travel Nurse experience preferred.
