Responsibilities:
Perform hands-on laboratory work, dedicating approximately 80% of your time to: Nucleic acid synthesis (in vitro transcription),downstream purification, and encapsulation Execute molecular biology techniques, including but not limited to: Gel electrophoresis (agarose, PAGE) Capillary electrophoresis Nanopore sequencing. Downstream purification via HPLC. Perform basic microbiology techniques such as Sterile culturing techniques Troubleshoot and optimize protocols for nucleic acid production and analysis. Bioburden testing Bacterial transformation and plasmid purification Support the smooth day-to-day operations of the lab, including: Ordering, inventory management, and receipt of lab supplies and operational materials. Ensuring the lab is well-stocked and efficiently organized. Maintain accurate lab records and document experimental processes. Maintain and comply with health and safety procedures and prepare and revise related standard operating procedures Requirements: An undergraduate degree or equivalent in Molecular Biology, Biomedical Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field is essential. At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in in vitro transcription-based nucleic acid synthesis, purification, and encapsulation. Experience with analytical techniques such as gel electrophoresis, capillary electrophoresis, PCR, qPCR, nanopore sequencing, or HPLC. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills in a laboratory environment. #M3
