What You'll Do: + Assist with comprehensive dental procedures, including dental cleanings, dental radiography, and advanced dental surgical assistance. + Monitor anesthesia during dental surgeries, ensuring patient safety and comfort. + Provide hands-on surgical preparation and recovery care for dental patients. + Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and laboratory diagnostics as needed. + Calculate and administer medications and fluids under DVM direction. + Maintain and sterilize dental and surgical instruments. + Educate and engage with pet parents regarding post-procedure care and dental health maintenance. + Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver outstanding patient care and create a positive, low-stress experience. What We're Looking For: + Active Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in California or eligible for transfer. + Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) certification in Dentistry is highly preferred but not required. + Experience in anesthesia monitoring, dental radiographs, and dental cleanings. + Passion for patient care and providing exceptional client service. + Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment. Schedule: + 8 to 10-hour shifts depending on caseload.
