Key Responsibilities:  Safety Program Development and Implementation: o Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and policies in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. o Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety issues. o Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels.  Incident Investigation and Reporting: o Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. o Prepare detailed reports on safety incidents and provide recommendations for preventing future occurrences.  Regulatory Compliance: o Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and standards. o Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of required documentation.  Safety Audits and Inspections: o Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks. o Maintain records of safety inspections, audits, and corrective actions.  Emergency Response Planning: o Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures. o Conduct emergency drills and ensure that all employees are trained in emergency response protocols.  Continuous Improvement: o Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. o Promote a culture of continuous improvement in safety practices. Qualifications:  Education: o Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.  Experience: o Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety role, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector. o Experience with safety management systems and regulatory compliance.  Skills: o Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. o Ability to conduct e􀆯ective training sessions. o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. o Proficiency in Microsoft O􀆯ice Suite.  Certifications: o Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP) are highly desirable.
