About the Role
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in our business as the first point of contact with potential customers. Reporting into the Marketing team, the SDR is responsible for generating and qualifying leads to convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and appointments for our sales organisation.
This position is essential to our growth, focusing on identifying new business opportunities, creating meaningful engagement with prospects, and laying the groundwork for successful sales conversations.
You’ll collaborate closely with our sales teams, marketing department, and strategic vendor partners to execute outbound campaigns that align with our broader business objectives and sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Development Representative, you will:
Identify and qualify potential sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
Conduct research to understand the needs, challenges, and goals of prospective clients
Schedule meetings and appointments for the sales team with qualified leads
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions in the CRM system (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)
Collaborate with the marketing team to refine lead generation strategies and campaign messaging
Provide feedback to sales and marketing on the effectiveness of outreach efforts
Execute outbound campaigns in partnership with global and local strategic vendors
Time Allocation
40% – Making a high volume of outbound calls to potential clients
20% – Researching target companies and industries, including collaborating with sellers to define target accounts
20% – Updating and maintaining the CRM system with detailed and accurate information, including appointment monitoring
20% – Working closely with sales teams and vendor partners to align on outbound campaigns and create appointments

Experience using CRM systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics or HubSpot
A natural curiosity and willingness to learn about our products, services, and customers
Previous experience in a sales, marketing, or customer service role
