Job Title: Sales Engineer
Job Description

The Sales Engineer will play a critical role in identifying and developing new business opportunities while serving as the primary liaison for customer communications. This position requires a strategic mindset to align customer interactions with the company's objectives, providing a high-level experience for clients.

ResponsibilitiesParticipate in internal RFQ meetings, ensuring standard procedures are followed.Serve as the primary liaison for customer communications, filtering interactions to align with the company's strategic direction.Assign requests to internal departments, driving and challenging technical solutions to enhance customer experience.Oversee the effectiveness of root cause analysis and corrective actions, advocating for the best interest of the customer.Escalate internally when deadlines are not met or poor solutions/interactions are pushed to customers.Understand potential risks for customers and proactively drive internal actions to mitigate them.Participate in meetings at the customer's plant, representing the company and providing outstanding technical customer support.Compile and categorize interactions with customers and regularly present them to the board of directors.Review and analyze customer forecasts to understand patterns and trends, correlating them with market demand.Oversee production output, efficiency, and outgoing shipments to meet customer expectations.Oversee the PPAP process and other projects related to new product launches, enhancing customer experience.Monitor key quality metrics, including Customer Scorecards, Internal Scrap, Cost of Poor Quality, and Quality Concerns.Engage proactively with customers to understand long-term goals and offer tailored solutions for continuous improvement.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role.BS Degree.Experience with QMS, PPAP, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.Ability to travel to customer sites 20-50% (travel expenses reimbursed).Additional Skills & QualificationsMS Degree.Experience in metal stamping.Sales Engineering experience.Work Environment

The position operates in a remote setting with hours typically from 7:30 am to 4 pm, requiring around 45 hours per week. Visits to facilities may be expected, where elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors are present. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

2 weeks PTO and that is negotiable, X-mas shut down, opportunity to pay for further education if candidates show an interest.

This is a hybrid position in Bellevue,OH.
