Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our project team for a SCIF room construction project located in Washington, DC. The project encompasses a 37,000-square-foot SCIF room, and we are looking for a professional with a strong experience in commercial construction and MEP systems.
ResponsibilitiesOversee the construction of a 37,000-square-foot SCIF room in Washington, DC.Manage project timelines and ensure milestones are met within the 1-10 million dollar project range.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to maintain workflow efficiency and quality.Interpret and implement construction blueprints accurately.Ensure site safety and compliance with OSHA 30 standards.Collaborate with project teams both in the office and on-site to achieve project objectives.Interact with project owners and executives to provide updates and manage expectations.Maintain strong documentation and computer skills for project tracking and reporting.Essential SkillsMinimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial superintendent with base-build and MEP experience.Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.Strong subcontractor management skills.Knowledge of construction, interior construction, and site safety standards.OSHA 30 certification.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in IMEPe and infrastructure projects.Ability to manage larger project teams.Strong interaction skills with owners and executives.Work Environment
This position involves working on-site either in the office or in a project trailer. You will be exposed to a typical construction environment with safety protocols in place. The role requires the ability to manage multiple subcontractors and collaborate with both office and field teams.e
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
