As a **Seasonal Bartender or Server** , you’ll embody effortless hospitality, tailoring each moment to the unique tastes and preferences of our guests—all while delivering the refined service expected of a Forbes Four-Star destination.
**About Five-10 Waterfront**
Anchored on Boston’s scenic Fort Point Channel, **Five-10 Waterfront** is a vibrant seasonal bar and restaurant that captures the energy of the city’s waterfront. Open daily from May to September, it offers an upscale yet relaxed atmosphere with 72 outdoor seats, New England-inspired cuisine, and artfully crafted cocktails served beneath open skies.
**Key Responsibilities**
Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a personalized and seamless dining experience
Recommend and serve food and beverages with expert knowledge and confident flair
Maintain a keen awareness of restaurant operations, ensuring service remains on time and up to standard
Monitor inventory, minimize waste, and report any low supplies or equipment issues to leadership
Uphold impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with local laws and IHG policies
Assist with setup, breakdown, dishwashing, and other team-based responsibilities when required
Comply with food safety regulations and wear appropriate protective gear
Contribute to a positive team environment by taking initiative and supporting colleagues
**Key Skills & Qualifications**
Prior experience in upscale, high-volume food & beverage environments preferred
Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and premium spirits, including proper service and glassware
Excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality
Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs; comfortable bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Must meet local legal requirements for alcohol service and possess relevant certifications (e.g., ServSafe, TIPS)
Fluent in the local language and comfortable handling guest inquiries confidently
