Semiconductor Section Manager - Phoenix, AZ

We are actively hiring 5 people to operate as Section Managers with a growing and renowned semiconductor company expanding in Phoenix, AZ. With a focus on cutting-edge technologies, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and performance enhancement of advanced semiconductor tools. This is a competitive opportunity with negotiable compensation, relocation support, bonus options, and long-term career stability as this sector and these facilities continue to expand.

The 5 positions include: CVD Section Manager, CMP Section Manager, PVD Section Manager, Epitaxy (epi) Section Manager, and Lithography Section Manager. Each manager will oversee a specific tool for the facilities.

Job ResponsibilitiesInstall and qualify semiconductor tools such as CD-SEM, OCD, Inspection, and Overlay with the support of the installation team, vendors, and stakeholders.Sustain and maintain semiconductor tools to ensure tool availability, tool-to-tool matching, and implement continuous improvement projects.Coordinate with various semiconductor vendors for tool installations, upgrades, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.Manage a diverse team of engineers and technicians to maintain healthy semiconductor tools and collaborate on metrology measurement issues.Note: The largest wafer size currently manufactured is 12 inches (300mm) in diameter for advanced chip stacking and assembly techniques.Job RequirementsBachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or Automation Engineering.2 to 10+ years of relevant experience, depending on specific degree and education.1+ year of experience in single wafer etching at 34nm or less within the last 4 years.Experience in single wafer etching at 300mm or smaller semiconductor fabs.Experience managing 1+ team(s) of 3+ people (performance reviews, development).Experience in high-volume semiconductor production.Work Environment

Work will be located in a cleanroom environment with office duties. Training will be provided for up to 6 months overseas. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The facility is locked down with no personal cell phones or electronics allowed on-site, but a company-provided cell phone will be available. Dress code includes closed-toed shoes and a bunny suit in the cleanroom, with casual business attire otherwise.

CompensationTarget salary is $130,000/year to $199,000/year, but this is flexible depending on candidate situation and experience.Relocation assistance is available for candidates in any part of the United States.Additional bonuses available for this role.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $199000.00/yr.

Relocation Benefits:

Employees eligible for relocation benefits receive a lump sum payment of $1,500 to cover incidental expenses related to the move 1.
Reimbursable relocation expenses must be incurred within one year from the employment date with the company or one year from returning from Taiwan training 1.
