As a Security Architect, you will work with technology and business teams to help drive the secure evolution of our organisation. Working with various stakeholders, you will provide security advice and assist them in understanding the severity of the security risks and remediation activities.
You will validate security controls against Macquarie’s cyber security standards and industry cybersecurity frameworks, document and report security assessment results, and review Macquarie’s security capabilities and provide recommendations. What you offer

5+ years’ experience in Cyber Security consulting or IT auditing rolesExperience in baseline security configuration and hardening, and interpretation of CIS Benchmark scansFamiliarity and experience in formal security architecture aspects, including logical and physical security architecture/designStrong understanding of security best practices and secure application developmentExperience working with public cloud, containers and KubernetesExperience in engineering, designing security solutions, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, vulnerability management and application developmentFamiliarity and exposure to regulatory requirements, the evolving threat landscape, and industry standard frameworks, including but not limited to, NIST, COBIT and ISO.  We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
