As part of this mission, Chewy Vet Care is hiring an CVC Security Manager to help us scale a connected, detailed omnichannel customer experience for clients of our Chewy Vet Care practices. This leader will be responsible for all aspects of physical security across the organization, managing systems such as CCTV, intrusion alarms, and safes to ensure efficient performance and reliability. They will lead vendor commissioning during new facility buildouts, conduct investigations into security incidents, and develop standard operating procedures aligned with industry standards. Additionally, they will train staff on security protocols, audit site readiness, and lead vendor relationships to support continuous improvement and preventive maintenance.
What You'll Do:
Lead and maintain all physical security systems, including:Camera systems: CCTV functionality, uptime, resolution quality, network access, and video retention.Intrusion alarms: Monitoring, alert reliability, zone programming, and response critical issue.Safe services: Lock programming, service coordination, and incident access logs.Lead vendor commissioning of camera and alarm systems during the final stages of new practice construction. Responsibilities include:Camera system: Ensure image clarity and resolution, validate clear lines of sight, verify directional coverage, and confirm remote access to all units.Intrusion alarm system: Test functionality of all sensors, zones, and alerts to confirm system integrity before opening.Conduct investigations into theft, equipment tampering, and system failures. Provide written reports with root cause analysis and action plans.Develop and maintain security SOPs in alignment with industry standards (ASIS, NFPA 731, ISO/IEC 27001 physical controls).Audit location security readiness and provide assessments for new buildouts or upgrades.Train local staff on alarm procedures, incident response, and daily use of camera and safe systems.Own the lifecycle of vendor partnerships—including performance reviews, contract management, and critical issue handling.Resolve service tickets with urgency and ensure proactive preventive maintenance.What You'll Need:
