Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Representative to develop, administer, and audit security programs that ensure compliance with government regulations and corporate policies. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting classified material, export-controlled data, and proprietary information. This role requires a strong understanding of federal security regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with government customers, leadership, and enterprise business partners.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and execute security programs to protect classified material, export-controlled data, and proprietary information
-Ensure compliance with government regulations, including DOD security rules (NISPOM) and corporate policies
-Support all DOD collateral classified programs in individual and team roles
-Serve as a Security Representative and liaison with U.S. Government customers
-Study and implement federal security regulations, seeking approvals and security rulings or deviations as needed
-Manage quality, schedule, and cost expectations associated with program development and execution
-Prepare implementation manuals, establish procedures, and conduct security education classes
-Investigate security violations, prepare reports, and recommend preventive actions
-Apply business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges
-Communicate observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners
-Process clearances, customer visits, and provide support for classified meetings
Requirements:
-Strong knowledge of federal security regulations, including DOD security rules (NISPOM)
-Experience with security program development, administration, and auditing
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work effectively with government customers, leadership, and enterprise business partners
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Ability to apply business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges
-Experience with security education and training
-Familiarity with classified material handling, storage, and record-keeping procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience working with DOD collateral classified programs
-Knowledge of corporate policies and procedures related to security and export control
-Experience with security clearance processing and customer visit management
-Familiarity with risk management principles and practices
-Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
Work Environment:
This role will be working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
The successful candidate will be required to work closely with government customers, leadership, and enterprise business partners
The role will involve working with classified material and export-controlled data, requiring a high level of discretion and adherence to security protocols.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $69,900 - $123,280. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
