Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive US GAAP, statutory and tax accounting and reporting for the entities in scope; ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the reporting.
Prepare local GAAP consolidated financial statements and coordinate with other teams to obtain the required information.
Calculate tax provision for entities in scope based on the local laws and coordinate with internal Tax team to ensure accuracy and completeness of the accrual.
Ensure accuracy of accounts by reconciling them with underlying supporting documents.
Prepare tax return for entities in scope and coordinate with external advisors to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Ensure adherence of processes to the company’s policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations; support strengthening of financial processes and controls.
Act as a point of contact to local authorities for matters related to accounting and tax compliance, including regulatory and withholding tax queries for dividend distributions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with other finance and non-finance teams, as well as external providers, to ensure execution of end-to-end finance processes.
Drive the resolution of complex accounting and tax issues.
Participate in local, regional, and global projects, as required.
Be an advocate of finance function.
Maintain focus on continuous process improvement.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in accounting or audit of financial statements.
Proven experience in a multinational environment and/or audit.
Expert knowledge of US and local GAAPs and tax matters
Excellent communication skills, diplomatic, flexible and “can do” mind-set.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Strong reporting tools including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Ability to present complex accounting information in an easy-to-understand format.
Ability to identify and resolve accounting issues.
Thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and assist in making informed decisions.
Accuracy and thoroughness in preparing and reviewing financial data.
