Our client in the CPG industry is looking for a Senior Accountant to join them on a 6-month assignment. The role will be working 3 days onsite at their offices in Mississauga.\r\n

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant is as follows:\r\nCarries out daily accounting transactions for projects (intercompany transactions, bill payments, bank entries and monthly accruals).\r\nPrepares and manages variance analysis and communicates results on a monthly basis.\r\nPrepares quarterly reconciliations and financial statements and supports annual external audit.\r\nPrepares and coordinates management reporting with various stakeholders across the organization.\r\nAssists in the preparation of tax returns and other related filings.\r\nImplements best practice initiatives and ensures that all deadlines are met.\r\n\r\n
