Description We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant Consultant to assist a non-profit client, located in Chicago, Illinois. The role involves owning month-end close including managing general ledger activities, preparing financial reporting, and ensuring accounting compliance. This contract role is estimated to be 1-3 months. There is potential to be hired during the contract, based on performance. Pay range: $35-40/hr. Benefits offered by Robert Half Onsite: 5 days/week Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee general ledger activities. • Financial Reporting. • Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations. • Own the month-end closure process, ensuring all financial activities are accurately recorded. • Generate financial reports for internal and external use. • Demonstrate eagerness to learn and grow within the role. • Engage in treasury-related tasks, including bank covenants and cash flow analysis, when required.
