\nJoin our Global Network Operations Programs (GNOP) team as a Senior Business Analyst, driving our Denied Party, Sanctions, and Embargoes (DPSE) compliance efforts. This role supports the design, enhancement and governance of trade compliance systems and processes, aligning DHL’s global operations with evolving regulatory requirements.
\nThe Senior Business Analyst – DPSE plays a key role in understanding regulatory and compliance requirements, defining business solutions, and ensuring changes are successfully integrated into DHL’s global network. The role encompasses:
\n\nCompliance process automation\nRisk mitigation and regulatory adherence\nBusiness rules and IT systems alignment\n\nYou will collaborate across Legal, Compliance, IT, and Operations to deliver robust, governance-led compliance solutions within the Express Global Applications Portfolio (EGAP).
\n\n\nHow will you contribute to the success of DHL?\n\nCompliance & Regulatory Analysis
\n\nServe as SME for denied party screening, sanctions, and embargo compliance \nAssess and interpret global regulatory changes (OFAC, BIS, UN, EU sanctions) \nDefine automated screening processes and workflows \nCollaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure full regulatory alignment\n\n\nProduct & Process Management
\n\nLead enhancements of DPNEXTGEN tools \nDevelop business cases and project briefs for compliance IT solutions \nAlign with GBIT, Trade Compliance Centres, and regional ops teams \nManage cross-functional working groups\n\n\nUser Engagement & Deployment
\n\nConduct global compliance reviews and validation \nDesign training programs for compliance stakeholders \nSupport Development SPRINT testing, UATs and solution deployment\n\n\nPost-Implementation & Monitoring
\n\nOversee post-deployment reviews and data quality controls \nDevelop corrective action plans and contingency procedures \nMonitor system performance and reduce false positives\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDo you have what it takes?\n\n\nStrong analytical and structured problem-solving skills \nBusiness process analysis and regulatory impact assessment experience \nSkilled in stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation \nFamiliarity with compliance, risk management, and automation tools \nKnowledge of Agile, DevOps, and project methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2) \nStrong command of English (written and verbal); able to influence at senior levels \nProficiency in Microsoft Office and process modeling tools\nBachelor’s degree preferred (in Compliance, Business, Law, International Trade, or related field) or related business experience\n 5+ years’ experience in trade compliance, sanctions, regulatory risk roles or equivalent operations experience \nExperience in process automation, business analysis, and IT solution delivery \nRelevant certifications considered: ACAMS, CUSECO, or equivalent \nGlobal or regional experience in regulatory environments is a plus\n\n\n\n\n\nDHL is an equal opportunity employer.
