Responsibilities of the Senior Director, FP&A, Insurance is as follows:\r\nEstablish the mandate for a leading Performance Management & Business Decision Support function, working closely with peers across the organization to leverage best practices\/lessons learned.\r\nProvide insightful and actionable financial and business analytics of Insurance results; developing complex presentations to support executive decision-making.\r\nCoordinate ongoing forecasts, annual plan, 5 year outlook and line of business reviews with a comprehensive understanding of forward looking trends, including managing the stress-testing exercise for Insurance (in partnership with the Reporting & Controls team).\r\nOversee benchmarking and peer comparisons; present findings and recommendations to senior management.\r\nProvide financial advisory services supporting various programs across Insurance.\r\nPeople and team management - fostering an engaged and innovative environment where staff are tapping into financial and non-financial data across the enterprise to drive value-add financial analysis, while keeping current with market trends, the competitive environment, and identification of business opportunities.\r\nManage changes to current regulatory and accounting standards (i.e. OSFI, IFRS) to ensure they are properly reflected within all forecasting, planning and strategic initiatives presented to senior management in order to identify impacts to the business.\r\n\r\n"
