Senior Electrical Designer

Our client, an EPCM company, is looking for a Senior Electrical Designer to join their Brisbane team.

Project: Mineral Processing projects
Location: Brisbane CBD
Duration: 3-month initial casual contract (with a view for extension)

The role responsibilities include:

Design & prepare E&I detailed design drawings for mineral processing plants projects that meet the company's, the client’s and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. 

Participate in peer reviews, interdisciplinary reviews and consult relevant resources as required and also contribute to the development and improvement of project design systems, processes, practices and procedures (where required).

Communicate effectively and regularly with the project Lead, engineers, other discipline design teams, and Project Engineers/Managers on design progress, technical matters, workshare and resource planning

What you’ll have:

A recognized certificate / Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Trade Qualifications

Relevant years of experience in designing and drafting with majority of experience in the resource industry.

Competency in MicroStation & 2D design (SLD, schematics, termination, layouts and block diagrams).

3D modelling experience in E&I is advantageous.
