Senior Electrical Engineer (Gladstone, QLD)

Location: Gladstone, QLD
Project: SUSCAP Mining
Duration: 12-months initial casual contract
Working hours: Monday - Friday Office hours

The role responsibilities include: Deliver discipline-specific engineering services that meet Worley, client, and regulatory requirements. Ensure clarity of project scope and compliance with change management processes for any scope changes. Perform and manage engineering design and technical verification of project deliverables. Prepare, review, and oversee production of engineering calculations, drawings, and documentation, ensuring compliance with Worley procedures. Attend site visits and participate in project reviews, HAZIDs/HAZOPs, and safety in design workshops as required. Establish and maintain relationships with contractors, clients, and Worley personnel to support business growth and collaboration. Contribute to the development and improvement of Worley design systems, processes, and procedures. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including progress updates on design, budget, and resource planning. What you’ll have A recognized degree in the relevant engineering discipline or equivalent. Effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers. A good working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of electrical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields. A good working knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications. Competent use of electrical engineering specific software and relevant software such as MS Office Suite. Engineering experience in Mining, Minerals or Metals including some job site or factory experience in Australia. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status / RPEQ Registration / RPEV Registration or are eligible to attain this registration within 6 months of your commencement. Based in Gladstone. #LI-WL1
