HDR currently has an opening for a Management Consultant to join our team. Primary responsibilities for this position are to support large multi-disciplinary management consulting and asset management projects including proposal development, project management, technical leadership, and deliverable development.
The candidate would be expected to work collaboratively with the Management Consulting Business Class and asset management practice leadership team supporting growth in this line of work nationwide including Michigan. The candidate should have experience applying management consulting and asset management practices in some or all of the following market sectors: hydropower, power delivery, industrial, and solid waste.
The expectation for a Consultant-level is that the candidate will have significant experience as a project manager, technical leader, or primary contributor in the development of asset management-related deliverables including:

• Business Case Evaluation

• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work on a team or as an individual self-starter.
• Excellent organizational skills along with strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile and present summary-level information.
Required QualificationsMaster's degree in Business Administration or closely related field A minimum of 10 years consulting experience and extensive related expertiseProficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access and Outlook Excellent interpersonal skills and strong relationship, organizational and follow-up skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
