Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Manager of Hardware Engineering to lead our dynamic team of Electrical, Mechanical, and Firmware Engineers. This role is pivotal in driving the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge autonomous mobile robots. The ideal candidate will oversee system-level strategies, own the hardware design, and lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality, compliant, and reliable products.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide strategic direction and leadership to the hardware engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
· Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of hardware engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
· Utilize deep technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and firmware engineering to guide the team in solving complex robotics problems and developing robust solutions.
· Work closely with systems, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless system integration and compliance with design specifications.
· Mentor and develop team members, promoting professional growth and skill enhancement.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
· 7+ years of experience in Mechanical or Electrical engineering fields with 3+ years of management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Leadership experience, including managing engineering teams and driving complex projects.
· Strong ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in hardware design and development.
