Senior Manager, Network Engineering, Security Vulnerability Remediation

As a Senior Manager of Network Engineering, you will be responsible for guiding Network Services management on technology configuration, installation, and deployment, while overseeing the hiring, training, development, and performance management of staff, this leadership role ensures timely project deployment, network compliance, and effective capital budgeting.

Additionally, this role drives the day-to-day operations of Spectrum Business Security Vulnerability Remediation and the Implementation and Operations Process and Standards teams, playing a critical role in maintaining secure, efficient, and continuously improving network and customer environments through disciplined process management and cross-functional collaboration.


How you can make a difference:

Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and complete required reports while identifying and developing procedures to streamline processes within Network Services.Provide technical guidance and assistance for problem resolution, establishing interfaces with Engineering, Field Services Operations, and other internal groups to ensure timely and efficient issue resolution.Oversee daily activities of Network Services, performing direct supervision of team members, including performance reviews, career development, staffing, and fostering positive employee relations through effective communication and ongoing support.Lead and manage daily operations and personnel across Security Vulnerability Remediation and I&O Process and Standards teams, actively supporting initiatives to identify, remediate, and prevent security vulnerabilities across network and customer-facing infrastructure.Foster and continually develop a high-performance team culture built on discipline, structure, and accountability, while developing an effective front-line leadership team to drive a high-performance environment.Collaborate with internal teams and boundary partners to create, maintain, and enhance operational processes, procedures, and standards, while overseeing the development, automation, and operational upkeep of the JIRA platform for consistent and streamlined workflow execution.Provide technical and engineering guidance on new technology initiatives, existing systems, and operational enhancements, while adhering to industry-specific local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.Perform other duties as required by manager

Required Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

Effective oral and written communication across all organizational levelsStrong analytical and data interpretation skillsProven leadership and team supervision abilitiesAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment under pressureSkilled in managing multiple priorities and resolving complex problemsSelf-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaborativelyAdvanced knowledge of:Network and Element Management toolsCable, voice, and data communications networksLAN/WAN architecture and operationsTCP/IP, SNMP, and HFC networksAdvanced Video technologiesKnowledge of company products and servicesProficient in Microsoft Office and common software applications (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets)Hands-on experience with workflow platforms such as JIRAStrong understanding of cybersecurity principles and vulnerability managementDemonstrated experience in operational process development and improvementValid driver's license with satisfactory driving record within Company required standards may be required

Required Education

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related field or equivalent experience

Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years

5+yearsManagement experience in a 24/7 operations center8+ years Network Operations and/or Implementation experience2 years project management

The base pay for this position generally is between $100,600.00 and $214,200.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
