ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage rig owners’ duties and responsibilities for several rigs (intercompany leasing and control of its assets)
Interface with Noble Group Management on budgets, expenditures and rig deployment opportunities.
Monitor and ensure compliance with the company’s AFE, spending and accounting policies and procedures.
Monthly control of billings for bareboat charter agreements and Master Maintenance Service Agreements.
Monitoring of cash and loan balances with reports to management.
Assist in the preparation, review and recommendations of annual operating and capital budgets to Noble Group’s Board of Directors.
Organize/prepare local board meetings.
Maintain a high standard for effective and timely communication.
Maintain files as necessary for legal recordkeeping.
Coordinate audit process with external auditors as required.
Ensure regulatory compliance for assets and companies.
Ensure adequate internal controls are in place.
Ensure rig secures and maintains insurance.
Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Accounting from accredited college, university or institution.
10-15 years accounting experience. Understanding of US GAAP. IFRS experience a plus.
Understanding of the oil field industry in particular offshore drilling.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Work independently and with groups.
Proficient with financial accounting, IFS a plus and Microsoft Office Suite software.
