If you’re a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you.  The Senior Manufacturing Engineer (level 3) reports to Technical Leadership and whose focus is performing design and support of moderate to high complexity manufacturing systems and equipment, mentoring to other Engineers and supporting process improvements.

What You Will Be Doing: 

Provides advanced technical solutions and leads team through processDevises new approaches to problems encounteredInitiates, justifies, and implements new advanced capital equipment purchasesCreates cell layouts and leads process improvement initiatives of high complexityParticipates in and promotes process improvements within assigned areas; assists with the development of department and organization proceduresSupports the manufacturing floor for any process related questions. Lends lessons learned and leads training efforts for process understanding.Creates, maintains and develops new process documentation and updates work order documentation. Creates new systems that support this effort.

What We Are Looking For:

Solid Six Sigma knowledge; Advanced understanding of Lean Manufacturing conceptsSolid Project planning toolsSolid troubleshooting and problem solving skills; Solid understanding of Root Cause AnalysisUses solid concepts of Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) and implements them into new product developmentManufacturing Engineering - Solid understanding of applicable manufacturing processes including Computer Numeric Controls (CNC) programming; Ability to apply advanced knowledge of capabilities studies, Gage R&R, and machine capability; Solid understanding of machinery related to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, etc. in order to specify equipment and procure capital; Solid understanding of product drawings, including GD&T and specification flow down

Education:

US – Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)-Engineering Discipline

Experience:

Greater than 4 years professional engineering experience or a combination of experience and advanced degree

License & Certifications:

Certificate or degreeSix Sigma GreenbeltProfessional certification

Base Salary Range: 90,400.00 - 113,000.00 - 135,600.00 USD Annual
