AT&T is hiring to support a US Government Program that provides IT Services to US Strategic Command located in Omaha Nebraska.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Network Design and Architecture:
Develop comprehensive network architectures that support the organization's current and future needs.Design scalable, resilient, and secure network solutions, including LAN, WAN, data center, and cloud networking.Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to align network strategies with business objectives.Conduct network assessments and gap analyses to identify opportunities for improvement.Implementation and Integration:
Lead the implementation of network projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.Oversee the deployment of new network hardware, software, and services.Performance and Optimization:
Monitor network performance and make recommendations for improvements.Optimize network configurations to ensure high availability, low latency, and efficient resource utilization.Security and Compliance:
Implement network security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Design and enforce policies for network access, data protection, and threat mitigation.Documentation and Standards:
Maintain detailed documentation of network architectures, configurations, and procedures.Develop and enforce network standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and reliability.Collaboration and Leadership:
Work closely with other IT teams, including systems administrators, security teams, and application developers, to ensure cohesive network integration.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers and administrators.Vendor and Technology Evaluation:
Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies and solutions to enhance the organization's capabilities.Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and support.Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the network infrastructure.Conduct regular testing and updates to ensure readiness in case of network failures or emergencies.Required Clearance:

Required Qualifications:
Experience: Extensive experience (typically 7-10+ years) in network architecture and engineering, with a strong background in designing and managing complex network environments.Certifications: Advanced certifications such as Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), or equivalent.Technical Skills: Deep understanding of networking technologies, protocols, and standards, including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, SDN, and cloud networking.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design efficient and effective network solutions.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate network strategies and collaborate with stakeholders.Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.Job Requirements:
Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale network architectures.In-depth knowledge of network security principles and best practices.Proficiency with network management tools and monitoring systems.Ability to lead and manage complex network projects from conception to completion.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Desired Qualifications:
