The Operations Specialist will help develop standard operating procedures to drive performance in the field. They will be responsible for assisting field operators implement these SOPs in the contexts of their operations. These Specialists will also go into trouble operations and support field operators to drive improved operational performance. The Operation Specialist will also assist field operators stand up new operations.
Pay: $110,000.00-$140,000.00

Job Objective
The Operations Specialist executes operational processes in alignment with aviation best practices ensuring that clients outcomes are achieved, and client / occupant / employee / passenger experience is positive. The Operation Specialist is also engaged with the Vice President Operational Excellence, identifying operational challenges that need to be addressed.
The successful individual develops and implements operational improvement strategies, functions as the operations expert, is the lead point of contact for the local leader and is responsible for guiding local leadership in the implementation of best practices in order to achieve client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Adherence to ABM’s Core Values of Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, Excellence and Trust. Adopt and execute the processes established by the Operational Excellence Team. Alter these processes, when necessary, given the unique nature of diverse operations. Be able to operate in multiple lines of service to include but not limited to cabin cleaning, passenger service, baggage handling (above and below wing), janitorial and facility maintenance. Creation of a strong operational culture based on an engaged and professional workforce in a highly collaborative team atmosphere. Ability to develop an internal network (with Functional Groups) and external network (perspective clients, industry, etc.). Conduct on-site, Quality Assurance Inspections in compliance with contractual specifications and customer’s expectation. Help local team to implement policies, practices, and standards to ensure operational success. Implement Quality Assurance Corrective Guidelines and conduct In-Service Trainings to ensure that all direct labor staff are fully trained and adhering to the ABM Standards. In addition, develop and implement a Quality Assurance corrective plan-of-action to guide and assist managers in achieving high quality performing accounts, to meet and / or exceed the SOW as stated under the Quality Assurance Program and Safety Program procedures Identify, recommend, and implement processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline use of resources and materials. Drive a culture of safety following required safety activities, inspections, and KPI’s. Oversee several workflows simultaneously. Special projects and other duties as assigned.Job Qualifications and Desired Attributes:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business/Facilities related curriculum, and/or equivalent work experience. 3+ years of experience in overseeing an operation within the aviation/travel industry. Experience engaging in client relationships within the airline industry. Solid understanding of effective operating principles, practices of managing employees and the ability to effectively apply these principles. Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure high levels of satisfaction and lay the foundation for continued growth and partnership. Demonstrate a professional and adaptable demeanor with internal and external clients Exercise a high degree of professionalism and self-motivation using personal initiative to identify and recommend best practices. Excellent verbal, written communication skills, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
