Job Title: Senior Procurement Manager

Job Description

The Senior Procurement Manager will lead the procurement team in overseeing all commercial goods procurement processes. This role requires managing vendor evaluations and the RFQ process to ensure optimal quality and cost efficiency. The position acts as a strategic partner, collaborating with various teams including procurement, operations, planning, production, design, sales, and marketing to ensure timely material delivery and drive innovative display concepts. Additionally, the Senior Procurement Manager will identify new sourcing opportunities to enhance brand positioning and market competitiveness, with a focus on overseeing seed supply procurement and working closely with vendors on production.

ResponsibilitiesLead direct procurement team and processes for the portfolio.Oversee seed supply procurement, vendor relationships, and production coordination.Develop and maintain procurement strategies for short- and long-term supply needs.Identify, evaluate, and manage national and international seed suppliers.Oversee stock seed strategy and parental line management.Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to meet production goals.Manage vendor evaluations, RFQs, and cost analyses for optimal quality and pricing.Monitor market trends, assess supply chain risks, and develop mitigation strategies.Partner with Finance on annual purchasing budgets and cost forecasts.Identify new sourcing opportunities to support brand strategies.Manage open purchase orders and optimize daily purchasing operations.Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and forecast purchasing needs.Resolve vendor and receiving issues while strengthening long-term partnerships.Essential Skills5+ years in a Purchasing/Procurement management level role.Longevity in previous roles.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.5+ years in manufacturing.Proficiency in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, and category management.Skills in negotiating contracts and vendor management.Additional Skills & QualificationsProject management experience.Inventory management skills.Strong negotiation and buying experience.Contract negotiation expertise.Work Environment

This role is based in Warminster, PA, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, 100% onsite. Enjoy summer hours with a 4-day work week every June and July. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
