  Role description:    Due to recent project wins, we are opening an expression of interest for skilled Project Managers within the Transport sector to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to take responsibility for the management and delivery of medium and large-scale civil infrastructure projects across the road, rail, water, ports and energy sectors.   Role accountabilities: Lead and manage Arcadis and Joint Venture teams in the delivery of projects to meet client requirements for cost, time and quality;  Manage project resourcing, sub-consultants, program, contracts and scope change to achieve positive project outcomes; Communicating effectively with all stakeholders to ensure that all parties are kept informed on all relevant matters; Implement and manage financial and project controls to enable effective monitoring and forecasting of project finances;  Drive project performance, service delivery, technical coordination and commercial outcomes; and  Contribute to bids and tenders as required.  Qualifications & Experience:   

First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life through your contribution to city shaping infrastructure projects. You are experienced in project management of, or ready to take the next step toward, large and medium scale infrastructure projects. Your experience should include: 

Extensive project management experience on civil infrastructure projects within the road, rail, water, ports and energy sectors; Experience managing engineers, environmental planners, designers and drafters on major, multidisciplinary projects; Experience in project stakeholder engagement and management;  Demonstrated commercial capability, with a clear understanding of project commercial management, familiarity with contract management and the ability to assess and manage risk; Confidence when representing Arcadis in front of clients and other project stakeholders, including the ability to manage challenging interactions and lead negotiations;  The ability to build collaborative and influential relationships, both internally and externally;  The ability to lead project set-up and mobilisations, and to effectively manage scope change during project delivery to ensure positive project outcomes.  Proficiency in program development and management; Experience in the coordination of multidisciplinary bids and tenders;  Familiarity with Health and Safety regulations and guidelines;
