Senior Quality Engineer
What We Need: Brady Corporation is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer who will maintain and uphold the quality systems that support the manufacturing and R&D activities of Brady’s microfluidic solutions business. Responsibilities will include maintaining the MES and QMS software, pushing continuous improvements, lead root cause analysis, and working in cross functional teams to provide solutions. At our Lexington, Kentucky site, we design and manufacture a wide array of products utilizing in-house microfluidic technology. As a legacy division of IBM and Lexmark, our employees are experts in microfluidic design and its application and commercialization. What You'll Be Doing: + Investigation and review of customer complaints, ensuring that root cause investigations are thorough and corrective / preventive actions are robust + Work with manufacturing engineering to ensure necessary process controls are in place for design and process changes + Review and support Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and the material review board (MRB) processes as needed + Act as an effective team member in the execution of Quality functions in compliance with ISO9001 + Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of product assurance plans providing feedback to corrective and preventative actions to engineering, manufacturing, service and field operations and supplier performance + Collect, analyze & report on quality system metrics: CAPA, complaint trends, manufacturing trends, etc. + Interface directly with engineers at internal and external semiconductor wafer fabs + Support internal and external audits What You Will Need To Be Successful: + Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering field + Three (3) years of Quality Engineering experience + Knowledge of ISO 9001, 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485 requirements + Knowledge of GMP requirements + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment, complete tasks within a given timeframe and multitask About Us: Who we are:Brady makes products that make the world a safer and more productive place.
