Senior Remote Intervention Engineer
Position: Senior Remote Intervention Engineer
Location: Hybrid role with up to 5 days/month onsite in Suresnes. Involves occasional onshore and offshore travel
Duration: 12 month contract (renewable)

Airswift is recruiting for a global leader in offshore energy services to fill the role of Senior Remote Intervention Engineer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world-renowned company at the forefront of subsea engineering and project delivery.

Professional Background & Experience

10+ years of experience in ROV operations or Remote Intervention, especially for:

Subsea Umbilical's, Risers and Flowlines (SURF)

Conventional offshore installations

Renewables (offshore wind, etc.)

Engineering Degree (preferably in Mechanical, Marine, Electrical, or Subsea disciplines).

Familiarity with project lifecycles from tender through to offshore execution.

Demonstrated experience with:

ROV tooling

Remote intervention strategy planning

Offshore campaign preparation and mobilization

Writing and reviewing technical documentation (e.g., ROV Access Verification Reports)

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong technical expertise in ROV tooling and subsea equipment integration.

Excellent project coordination and interface management with internal disciplines and external suppliers/clients.

Ability to lead and manage procurement and subcontractor activities for remote intervention packages.

Skilled in writing, reviewing, and validating procedures and documentation.

Proactive in identifying and mitigating risks and proposing solutions.

Soft Skills

Effective multicultural team player, with strong collaboration skills.

Excellent communicator (written and verbal English is essential).

Independent, self-driven, and capable of managing workload and priorities autonomously.

Analytical and detail-oriented problem solver.

Flexible and able to travel offshore and internationally as needed.

Desirable Experience

Experience in Diving Engineering is a strong plus.

Familiarity with FEED studies, vessel mobilizations, and SPS tie-in tooling.

Understanding of HSSEQ and offshore safety procedures.

Location & Commitment

Must be available to work remotely with up to 5 days/month in Suresnes (France).

Willing to support onshore and offshore activities depending on project phase.
