Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability.
Reporting to the Engineering Services Manager, the Senior Training Developer will play a pivotal role in designing and developing high-quality technical training courses and delivering Train the Trainer programs to ensure end-user capability. In addition to training design and development, this role focuses on enhancing graphical illustrations, technical writing standards, and supporting the Engineering team’s documentation capabilities to meet critical business and customer requirements.

What You Will Do:
This role will provide support to the THAAD/TPY-2 Radar team course developers, instructor lead, and task lead to continuously develop pioneering, industry leading training material for program execution. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Collaborate with engineering teams to create high-quality documentation that meets user needs and customer standardsWrite, format, edit, review, and proof-read procedural and technical information for both technical and non-technical audiences as a THAAD/TPY-2 Radar Subject Matter Expert (SME)Apply SME knowledge and expertise to the review, development, and sustainment of training coursewareOrganize material and complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminologyMaintain records and files of work including revisions, images, diagrams, and charts to illustrate materialDeliver technical product training, including ‘Train-the-Trainer (T3)’ courses, to key stakeholders, ensuring training materials are comprehensive, effective, and delivered on timeMaintain project timelines for training and documentation deliverablesCoordinate with task lead to ensure that milestones are met, and risks are managedWorking knowledge of the Common Product Data Management (PDM) system and how to leverage its capabilitiesQualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experienceExperience with THAAD/TPY-2 Radar.Experience with Instructional Systems Design (ISD) and/or developing training materials.Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
