Senior Vice President, Audience Solutions Group
Company description Zenith is a full-service media agency with capabilities and expertise across all channels and disciplines. Zenith is part of Publicis Media, the #1 media buying network in the Americas and #2 globally. As “The ROI Agency,” Zenith’s expertise lies in driving real, tangible business outcomes, not just media metrics, that will have a measurable effect on our clients’ business. Every investment we make has an ROI mindset—not just for our clients, but for our agency at large. We’re focused on driving the maximum value for our people, our capabilities and our media investments for some of the world’s leading brands. Overview Executive Summary Leads implementation of effective team roles & interplay for Groupe-led EPC licensed client. Orchestrates way of working to success against the client’s stated use cases, ROAS framework, and measurement efforts by guiding delivery teams’ organization structure & client model. Implements the EPC data and tech roadmap leveraging fluency in Epsilon & agency WoW. Background The typical Groupe AOR client generates significant retained revenue while Epsilon PeopleCloud (Discovery+Prospect, collectively known as EPC) at those same clients generates approximately $1.4 MM per year. Experience with existing and former clients indicates that lack of value creation and ability to point to tangible business results can put future potential growth at risk and put strain on the existing media relationship. In 2023 we view the EPC component as critical rather than viewed as secondary to the overall media spend. In fact, when properly sold, scoped and implemented, EPC should be considered a gateway to unlocking increased Groupe & Epsilon digital media activation opportunities, and a pathway to greater relationship “stickiness” as well as additional revenue growth. This is specifically important where clients view the efficacy of adjacent offerings (e.g. DMS, LIFT) in direct relationship with the solution effectiveness of EPC; when EPC is not successful, additional Groupe offerings are viewed as suspect. As the Groupe continues developing and offering solutions to clients’ business problems through Publicis media, services, and technology (EPC), these capabilities have become inextricably linked. Successful EPC-based execution; specifically delivering superior ROAS to clients through better people-based audience segmentation, 1PD enhancement, audience engagement strategy, and dynamic business use case deployment; is more dependent than ever before on successful integration of technology into agency ways of working. While this function requires a specific skill set and expertise straddling the disciplines of technology enablement and media planning it also serves as a key point of contact for the multiple Groupe organizations dependent on EPC for achieving objectives. Large AOR Groupe clients’ ways of working and Groupe workflow support needs vary significantly from client to client, so a deep understanding of client nuances is needed for Groupe leadership to appropriately position EPC and Groupe capabilities for creating client value. Client-dedicated Groupe EPC support balances this deep understanding of client nuances with centralized Groupe strategic and tactical guidance to best support Groupe delivery teams. The Role The Groupe Tech Execution Lead sits in the Groupe Growth team (dedicated to Publicis top 10 client, client team, and Epsilon reporting into Groupe Tech Strategy Lead) and works very closely with the Groupe Client Delivery Leads, serving as the client-embedded Groupe resource for data and tech delivery to client stakeholders. The role works closely with existing Epsilon delivery teams, connecting them to Media Client teams and disciplines while representing technology capabilities and overseeing execution against the value promise of Epsilon PeopleCloud, Groupe OS, and other data tech engagement capabilities. The successful candidate brings 10+ years of direct experience in data, tech, and ad tech environments and is proficient in data analytics, deployment, and digital activation and sees activation where value is created for clients and the Groupe. Deep PeopleCloud and Epsilon structural expertise is an integral component of a candidate’s background. Responsibilities Develops strong relationships with key client stakeholders, guiding the delivery teams’ organization structure and way of working towards the success of deliverables related to EPC and data analytics scope and agenda.
