We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented ServiceNow Developer to join our team and play a key role in advancing our digital service delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom ServiceNow solutions that drive operational efficiency and meet evolving business needs. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality implementations, ensure platform stability, and contribute to strategic planning efforts. **A DAY IN THE LIFE**
+ Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and modules (e.g., ITSM, HR, Project Management, CMDB), including scripting and configuration of UI policies, business rules, client/server scripts, and workflows to enhance platform functionality and user experience.
+ Design and implement automation workflows to streamline business processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design scalable solutions, and contribute to strategic planning of ServiceNow capabilities and upgrades.
+ Perform system integrations and data migrations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability across platforms.
+ Ensure platform security and compliance, including role-based access controls, data protection standards, and audit readiness.
+ Monitor system performance and conduct regular platform health checks to ensure stability and reliability.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow applications, customizations, and integrations.
+ Maintain up-to-date documentation and provide training and support to end-users to promote adoption and effective use.
+ Stay current with the latest ServiceNow features and best practices, applying new capabilities to continuously improve the platform.
+ Provide leadership and direction to one direct report; including mentorship, task oversight, and regular performance feedback to support professional growth and ensure high-quality platform support.
**NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
+ ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (preferred); Certified Application Developer or Implementation Specialist (preferred).
+ Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with expertise in ITSM, HR, Project Management, CMDB, and automation.
+ Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and development tools.
+ Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, GlideScript, and PowerShell.
+ Experience with REST/SOAP web services and integrations.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills.
+ Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
+ Proficient in MS office
+ Ability to travel as needed (~10%).
