THE WORK This position sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi\-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product\. The SMT Line Operator works from Standard Operating Detail \(SOD\) or written/verbal instructions given by the supervisor to perform production tasks\. Reports to the Operation Supervisor on work progress, including any conditions surrounding failure to meet quantity or quality standards\. Attends Operating Excellence Team meetings and brings recommendations for continuous improvement\. WHO YOU ARE You possess manufacturing knowledge, are adept at using hand tools, can proficiently read technical drawings to ensure an accurate and efficient assembly processes\.
