Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to translate system and software requirements into compliant software designs. You will implement robust, high-quality C++ software suitable for mission-critical, real-time systems with high reliability and availability requirements. Additionally, you will develop test frameworks to verify the correct implementation and performance of C++ software, utilize and help improve DevSecOps practices, and participate in peer reviews of requirements, architecture, software implementations, and test plans. Your role will also involve documenting software designs and interfaces, developing analysis tools, performing root cause analysis of software defects, and implementing corrections. Responsibilities + Translate system and software requirements into compliant software designs. + Implement robust, high-quality C++ software for mission-critical, real-time systems. + Develop test frameworks to verify the correct implementation and performance of C++ software. + Utilize and iteratively improve DevSecOps development practices. + Participate in peer reviews of requirements, architecture, software implementations, and test plans. + Document software designs and interfaces. + Develop analysis tools. + Perform root cause analysis of software defects and implement corrections. Required Skills + Proficiency in C++. + Experience with DevSecOps. + System integration skills. + Experience with GitLab, CI/CD, and automation. + Knowledge of GPU and RDMA. + Proficiency in MATLAB. + Understanding of radar systems. Preferred Skills & Qualifications + Ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required). + BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field with 5+ years of related experience. + Expertise in modern C++ and software engineering techniques including multi-threading, memory management, and performance optimization. + Experience integrating with larger software systems, including unit and system-level testing. + Familiarity with GitLab, CI/CD tools, automated testing frameworks, and code quality tools. + Adaptability to new programming languages, third-party software frameworks, and innovative technologies. + Active Top Secret Security Clearance (preferred). + Familiarity with signal processing or mathematical modeling. + Experience with GPU software development and RDMA. + Familiarity with radar concepts and integrated systems combining software and hardware. + Experience in developing, optimizing, and translating MATLAB algorithms into efficient C++ code. + Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. + Understanding of automation frameworks and tools. + Domain expertise in one or more areas: electronic warfare, antenna apertures, sensor resource management, large-scale platform test systems, cyber-physical systems, open system architectures. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
