We are seeking a highly experienced and versatile Software Engineer to join our team focused on key financial applications. In this role, you will serve as a technical and functional expert, providing essential support and driving project/release management activities for significant financial systems, including I ERP Blackline, the Splitter for S4 General Ledger, and our legacy PeopleSoft General Ledger applications. This position requires a unique blend of deep technical skills, functional understanding of financial processes, and the ability to manage initiatives within a complex application landscape involving both modern cloud technologies and established mainframe systems.
You will be instrumental in ensuring the stability, performance, and evolution of these critical systems, leveraging your extensive IT experience across various technologies to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and support ongoing operations and projects.
**What you'll do...**
+ Provide expert functional and technical support for the I ERP Blackline, S4 General Ledger Splitter, and Legacy PeopleSoft General Ledger applications.
+ Lead and execute Project and Release Management activities related to enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance of these financial systems.
+ Utilize Data Analytics techniques to monitor system performance, identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and support business analysis within the financial domain.
+ Apply strong SAP functional and technical knowledge, particularly related to General Ledger processes and integration points with S4HANA.
+ Work hands-on with various Database technologies supporting these applications.
+ Interact with and support functionalities residing on Mainframe systems integrated with the financial applications.
+ Leverage experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services as systems evolve or integrate with cloud infrastructure.
+ Work with APIs to facilitate data exchange and integration between financial systems and other enterprise applications.
+ Collaborate with business stakeholders (Finance, Accounting), other IT teams, and potentially external vendors to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
+ Troubleshoot complex technical and functional issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes.
+ Contribute to system design discussions, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with IT strategy.
+ Maintain system documentation and knowledge base articles.
**You'll have...**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
+ 10 years of progressive experience in Information Technology roles, with a focus on enterprise application support and development.
+ Demonstrated experience providing functional and technical support for complex business applications.
+ Proven experience in Project and/or Release Management methodologies and execution.
+ Strong experience with Data Analytics tools and techniques applied to application data.
+ Significant functional and technical knowledge of SAP, particularly in finance (FI/CO, GL).
+ Experience working with various Database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
+ Experience working with or supporting applications integrated with Mainframe systems.
+ Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
+ Experience designing, developing, or consuming APIs.

+ Experience directly supporting Blackline or PeopleSoft General Ledger applications.
+ Experience working within the Finance or Accounting IT domain.
+ Experience bridging legacy systems (like Mainframe/PeopleSoft) with modern platforms (like SAP S4/HANA, GCP).
+ Experience with ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
+ Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
+ Relevant certifications (e.g., SAP, GCP, ITIL, PMP/Agile).
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

This position is a range of salary grades SG5 - SG8 .
